A resident of the city of Mogoch in the Trans-Baikal Territory, Semyon Chernikov, was fined one thousand rubles on September 19 because he posted the track “Last Call” by rapper Oxxxymiron on his VKontakte account. The SOVA research center drew attention to the information on the website of the Mogochinsky District Court.
Chernikov was found guilty of distributing extremist materials (Article 20.29 of the Administrative Code).
In August, a similar fine was imposed on a resident of Mari El.
- The song “Last Call” appeared in 2009. Her character is a schoolboy who dreams of shooting at his classmates. In October 2022, the Zamoskvoretsky Court of Moscow declared the composition extremist and banned its distribution.
- After the start of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Oksimiron (Miron Fedorov) repeatedly expressed an anti-war position. The rapper was included in the register of “foreign agents” in October 2022. In December of the same year, an administrative case was opened against him because of the track “Oida”. Before this, the “Safe Internet League” complained about the rapper: the organization drew attention to the lines “Blow a kiss to beautiful kitties on Obvodny. Ingria will be free,” seeing in them calls to separate St. Petersburg from Russian territory. In January, because of the track “Oida,” the musician was fined 70 thousand rubles under the article on calls to action aimed at violating the territorial integrity of the Russian Federation (Part 2 of Article 20.3.2 of the Administrative Code). In June, the court banned this song, declaring it prohibited. In August, Oksimiron was fined 40 thousand rubles due to the absence of a “foreign agent” sign at his pre-New Year address to fans (Part 4 of Article 19.34 of the Administrative Code).
