The Armed Forces of Ukraine “clarify information” about the death of the commander of the Black Sea Fleet

The press service of the Special Operations Forces stated that they were “ clarifying information” about the death of the commander of the Black Sea Fleet during an attack on the headquarters in Sevastopol.

The press service of the Special Operations Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reports that some of the bodies of those killed in the attack on the headquarters of the Black Sea Fleet “could not be identified.” At the same time, the press service refers to anonymous sources who initially confirmed the death of the head of the Black Sea Fleet, Viktor Sokolov.

Earlier, the Special Operations Service of the Ukrainian Armed Forces stated that 34 officers were killed in the strike, including the “commander of the Black Sea Fleet.” This afternoon, the Russian Ministry of Defense published photos and videos in which fleet commander Viktor Sokolov is present.
