Politician Grigory Yavlinsky writes :
“From the Transcaucasia there is a continuous flow of information about the ongoing tragedy. It is not possible to comprehend what is happening in Moscow really. But some painful conclusions can be drawn. In Nagorno -Karabakh, ethnic purge occurs in relation to local Armenians. In the international community, some show conscious criminal indifference to human life and the right of an ordinary person to remain safely living on his own land, others - ugly helplessness associated with the incorrect placement of priorities in the past and fear of losing benefits at the moment.
This real tragedy is happening now and this is an extremely alarming precedent for the future. The leading centers of world political influence once again turned out to be incapable of responsible professional and thoughtful political action in the interests of ordinary people who became hostages of a terrible misfortune. This applies to Moscow, Washington, Brussels, and Ankara . ”
