The Russian government allowed Ukrainians to enter Russia from other countries only through two checkpoints

The Russian government has introduced a special procedure for entry into the country for Ukrainian citizens coming from third countries. this with reference to the order of the Cabinet of Ministers. reports Interfax

From midnight on October 16, Ukrainians coming to Russia from third countries will be able to enter the country only through the Ludonka automobile checkpoint in the Pskov region and Sheremetyevo airport.

The new rules apply to all Ukrainian citizens aged 14 years and older, as well as citizens under 14 years of age who are accompanied by a legal representative, guardian or trustee from among foreign citizens.

The government called this decision temporary, it is aimed at ensuring the safety of residents of the Russian Federation “in the current conditions.”

The government noted that these rules do not apply to Ukrainians located in the territories of Ukraine occupied by Russian troops.
