The prohibitions of “Aita”, “Tales”, the film “ET” - censorship in culture has become tougher and more illogical. Those who authorize it are rags

In the Russian film industry, everything is more sensible, but a ruthless grip of censorship. Like the Magors of the Teutonic Order, some secret forces, using the Ministry of Culture as an instrument, punish not too loyal filmmakers. Their paintings are “closed”, seized from the platforms, they are deprived of their work.

And there are more and more examples. Let's talk only about the recent - the most obvious.

"There is a hint in it ..."

The Moscow premiere of the outstanding director Alexander Sokurov “Fairy Tale” was supposed to take place on October 15 at the International Festival “Karo. Art ". Before Moscow, the film visited a number of festivals: from Locarno, Turin, Poussan and Tokyo to the Vologda Voices and St. Petersburg “Examples of Intonation”.

1,200 tickets were sold. But the show was banned. And literally the very next day, the film was refused a rental certificate, citing the fog point “g” in the rules for the issuance and refusal of rolling certificates “in other cases defined by federal laws”.

In what cases, what laws are not explained.

“I am sure that other prohibitive or power actions addressed to me will follow this. I consider such actions by the Ministry of Culture anti -constitutional, ”Alexander Nikolaevich commented on what was happening.

Sokurov, who lived most of his life in the USSR and who in the USSR had the sad glory of one of the most “shelf directors”, understood everything correctly: not so much a specific film is prohibited as it.

In the “fairy tale”, restless ghosts of dictators roam the unsteady dairy space of purge. Or their soulless godless souls. Among them, besides Hitler, Churchill, Mussolini, there is Stalin. Their dialogs are an alloy of phrases, scraps of conversations, speeches, articles, propaganda cliches, spokes, ranting in front of the crowd, evil mutual jokes (Hitler is sarcastically asking Stalin, not the Caucasian Jew). Their images are created using modern technologies from archival filming. And to these monstrous, sometimes caricature images there is no author’s food, they multiply before our eyes, like duplicates of their carnivorous ego. Fantasms, opening the doors of hell for millions.

But today it is considered seditious to treat dictators without proper food. In addition, comparing the USSR and Hitler Germany in Russia is prohibited. Therefore, apparently, the film was hidden away from the eyes of the viewer.

“I am not just protesting against censorship - I declare a protest against a violation of my constitutional right to free communication of my works with compatriots,” says Alexander Sokurov. But the cinematic community, as usual, was gaining water in the mouth.

For destructive information?

More and more dividing. The picture “Aita” was removed from Russian video services - the most cash yakut film by the famous director Stepan Burnashev, the holder of the main prize of the National Film Festival “Window to Europe” (for the film “Black Snow”).

Roskomnadzor, who is all enthusiastically and imagined by censorship restrictions and checks, found in the film “destructive information that contradicts the principles of the unity of the peoples of Russia”.

With what magnifier they watched this movie - I do not know.

Aita is connected with the main vector of Yakut cinema: to unite with other peoples, to rejection of national growth. And how could it be in such a film to see a demonstration of inequality on a national basis ”if the movie exposes xenophobia? At first, the inhabitants of the village consider the schoolgirl of adult Russian, but it turns out that her peer -Yakut is to blame for the suicide of the schoolgirl. The author is just beating the hasty anger of the crowd, aimed at the "stranger", "foreigner".

This is a movie about the ghostly line between forgiveness and revenge. Justice and lawlessness. Love and hatred. Especially in relation to someone else's.

And people accepted and understood the picture, it became the leader of the Yakut rental. She was taken to their libraries by Russian online platforms. Yakut cinema seems to have begun to get out of the ghetto of the republican rental to the federal scope, thereby confirming the idea of ​​the equality of authors, regardless of their residence, remoteness from the center. And thanks to, first of all, online cinemas opened another opportunity to bring their works to a wide Russian viewer.

In addition, the picture is supported by festivals. And its premiere took place at the first Russian festival of the author’s film “Winter”. The jury led by Alexei German Jr. handed the film awards for the best directing and the best male role (Innocent Lukovtsev).

In this film, the rain pours without ceasing, as if a light -abscuration had begun. And Burnashev, starting from the criminal intrigue, descends into the prohibitive depths of the gloomy and supple human “I”, turned into a ruthless “we”. He seems to tell about the omnipotent parental love as a catalyst for the destructive power of the crowd. When these two forces are connected, there is nothing worse.

The enemy defeats love, and the war - the world. But the film was unlikely to be banned because of his bitter conclusions. Perhaps the point is in the scene, where the indignant people are going to take the police station storm? It remains only to guess.

Russian filming and film critics made an open letter in connection with the recall of the rental certificate from Stepan Burnashev’s painting “Aita”. Copies of the letter signed by 67 film sciences, film critics and film journalists are sent to the Ministry of Culture and Roskomnadzor.

The plot disappeared

Another mysterious story happened with the new almanac of the leaders of the Yakut cinema Dmitry Davydov and Stepan Burnashev. This is their second joint film, which has now been released with a super -bounded circulation on the screens and on the Wink platform.

The first almanac - “yt”, seven stories about the inhabitants of the village, received the prize of the Warsaw Film Festival. The second - opened the festival "New Season". In fact, this is a vertical micro series with different characters about contemporaries.

In the “ET” , as in the first almanac, there should have been seven stories. But one short story in a strange way disappeared to the premiere. If you ask the producers and authors, what happened, they will look for evasive answers. But if you open the site of the "New Season", then on the page of the film there are shots from a short story that has not been included in the picture. And apparently, the plot, greatly upset the censors. On the frames - a trial of middle -aged women, clearly not malicious criminals. Most likely, teachers or library employees.
