Mamut Useinov, a finalist of the show “Sing a Star” on Channel One, who was detained during a raid on a mosque in Kotelniki, was sent to a military unit. This was reported by the Astra telegram channel, citing Useinov’s representative.

“He has already been delivered to military unit 19612 in Naro-Fominsk, Moscow region. They forcibly put me on a bus and took me away,” said the interlocutor of the telegram channel. He added that Useinov’s phone was taken away.

According to Useinov, the detainees were brought to the military registration and enlistment office, where they underwent a medical examination, and then they were required to sign contracts with the Ministry of Defense, otherwise they were threatened with prison.

Useinov and several other detainees refused to sign contracts; he and other refuseniks were told that the Investigative Committee would “communicate with them further.”

According to Astra, Useinov received Russian citizenship in 2014. He was not called up for military service in the army, since he had deferments for health and study reasons.

In turn, the Baza telegram channel wrote that Useinov received a summons in May, but he notified the military registration and enlistment office about the operation scheduled for September, after which they no longer sent him summons.

In October 2023, the head of the Investigative Committee of Russia, Alexander Bastrykin, proposed depriving acquired Russian citizenship if a person refuses to participate in the war in Ukraine. Earlier, he also called it expedient to “consider the issue of giving priority to naturalized citizens to participate in the implementation of the tasks of the SVO.”
