The Russian bishop arranged a new international scandal. He is known for the unauthorized baptism of nomadic children and missionaries in Antarctica

The Governor of Spitsbergen ordered to demolish a giant worship cross established in the summer on the archipelago by the Bishop of the Russian Orthodox Church. This is great food for Russian propaganda - they say, here it is, the anti -Christian West in all its glory. The point, however, is not in religion, but that the cross without any permits was established in the protected area. What is illegal - whether it is any construction, and not just a religious symbol wrapped in a St. George ribbon.

Responsibility for a possible religious and political scandal, of course, lies on the initiator of the event. This is the Naryan-Mari Jacob, the figure is very famous in the north. The next conflict (and there are a lot of them in the career of 63-year-old Jacob Tislenko)-rather, a step in the career of a man who proclaimed himself as a trustee of both poles of the earth.

The worship cross 7 meters high was hoisted in an abandoned village of Pyramid in August. The main thing-on the spiritual line-the participant in the event was Bishop Naryan-Mar and Mezeni Jacob. The secular authorities were represented by the new director of the Arcticugol GOSTRESS Ildar Nevorov. Arcticugol is a guarantee of the Russian presence on Svalbard, which is allowed under the international treaty, until coal mining is going on.

Coal in the Arctic was needed in Soviet times. Now its production significance is doubtful: Europe does not buy products, it is expensive to carry it to Russia. Coal accumulates in warehouses, and the Russian Federation slowly reduces prey.

By the decision of the Government Commission to ensure the Russian presence at the Spitsbergen archipelago, it is limited to 120 thousand tons. A gradual decrease in volumes to 30–40 thousand tons per year was planned.

As for the pyramid, the last ton of coal was issued there on March 31, 1998. Now the village is something like an open-air museum. Arcticugol is trying to develop tourism there, this year even promised to launch charters from Russia for this purpose. However, the Norwegian Foreign Ministry did not give permission to such flights.

In the summer, an unexpected in the desert pyramid happened-10 people were handed manually to the slope of the mountain, which gave the name of the village, a 7-meter cross. They flew from Moscow to Murmansk, then on cars - in Kirkenes, from there by plane on the archipelago through Oslo. After the consecration of the cross, decorated with a black-orange ribbon, the main character of the event, Bishop Jacob, said (I quote on Barents Observer): “... Russian pyramid. In the name of the Father and the Son, and the Holy Spirit, Amen. Hooray!"

The paradox is that

Ethnographically the pyramid is more Ukrainian than Russian, it is a historical fact. Ukrainians now make up about one fifth of the population of the entire archipelago.

And in the 80s, workers from the Ukrainian SSR made up the national majority. Shakhters came to the Arctic from Donbass, other staff from Volyn.

Spitsbergen is a demilitarized zone. However, Barents Observer reported that on May 9, the director of the Arcticugol trust, Ildar Neverov, arranged a military parade in Barentsburg , and the DPR flag was seen in the pyramid on the same day. Earlier, the "New" found evidence that the Chechen special forces could train on Spitsbergen. By the way, the worshiping cross in the pyramid of Jacob Tislenko devoted to the patron saint of the soldiers of St. George.

Taking a huge cross to the top of the mountain in the Arctic is, of course, laborious. The purpose of these efforts has not become clear. But it quickly became clear that the event was illegal. Any building on the archipelago should be agreed in advance, and although different countries can lead the economy here, the land - Norwegian. The slope attracted to the bishop turned out to be a zone of cultural heritage.

On September 18, the Governor of Spitsbergen gave the Arcticugol trust for three weeks to demolish the cross. On October 2, the trust appealed the decision of the governor with reference to the tradition of installing the worship crosses with Pomors in the XVIII - XIX centuries. They really were here, but Jacob’s cross has nothing to do with the Pomeranian sailors. In addition, neither Neverov nor Tislenko - no Pomor. There is no answer from the governor yet. Most likely, the parties will agree on the transfer of the structure to any point allotted by local authorities. But the sediment will remain.

It was difficult to expect a different reaction from the Norwegian authorities.

But Father Jacob is not a provocation. He did not cost anything, for example, without asking his parents, to baptize the Nenets children who spend the school year in the boarding school.

Nenets, of course, pagans. And the parents were, to put it mildly, surprised by the self -will of the bishop. But he feels like a missionary.

The "new" told how the Cossacks fed by him desecrated the idols established in memory of the ancestors of all the Nenets clans, in different years executed near Pustozersk. It is noteworthy that at one time, before the appointment of Jacob in the polar department, logs for the manufacture of this sculptural group “Habidi Ten” (“Holy Memory”) were given by an Orthodox priest who built a wooden cathedral in Naryan-Mar.

This priest, Archpriest Anthony Antipov, with the arrival of the bishop was sent to a remote - 3 hours from a large land - the village of Nesa. The priest was multiple and seriously ill, needed a regular medical care, which was not in the rest. When the doctors directed him to be treated to St. Petersburg, an order on the ban on the ban on the clergy of Anthony Antipov for the unauthorized abandonment of the place of service appeared on the website of the Naryan-Mar and Mezen diocese. His mother wrote about this an open letter to the Patriarch, which can now be found on the network. However, personally, Vladyka Jacob was not in the city then, because he "left to the North Pole."

Yes, missionary Tislenko loves extreme. In August 2019, he became the most memorable passenger of the icebreaker “50 years of Victory”, demanding to replace the North American landscape in the cabin with the types of Suzdal, and the songs of Makarevich* on the ship's radio - on Yuri Log or the Cossack Choir.

What did he do there? High latitudes are the secret of the career success of Bishop Jacob. Its department, in essence, is not the most prestigious: a remote, but not independent, but as part of the Arkhangelsk Metropolis, few parishioners, which means there is little income, a heavy climate, there are few temples, the national district, in fact, pagan. But Jacob Tislenko found his niche, sensitively catching the guest of the expansion in the Arctic.

True, in church tradition, it is not customary to consecrate geography. They usually consecrate man -made things, and not what is created by the will of God ... But in the case of Tislenko, the ritual symbolizes a kind of mark of the territory. Not church meaning, but political. He consecrated the Kurils in a skip, although where is Naryan-Mar, and where the Kurils are ... for such canonical exercises you can get a collapse, but the bishop was not at all heated. He caught the moment back in 2012, when, during the visit of Patriarch Kirill to Solovki, he proposed his attention to his project “Russian Arctic”: temple construction in high latitudes, a procession along the borders of Russia, the interaction of the Russian Orthodox Church, oil -producing companies, government agencies responsible for the Arctic. The Holiness liked the project. And Bishop Jacob became the head of the project. And then expanded it to the Antarctic. Now the program is called this: “The Patriarchal Project“ Russian Arctic and Antarctica ”.

Yes, "on the other side of the globe", so what? Yes, there can be no Russian Antarctica - it is common: in accordance with the Convention on the Antarctic of Antarctica, it does not belong to any state. But the Arctic is not purely Russian, according to international agreements, it is divided into five liability sectors between Russia, the USA, Norway, Canada and Denmark. But at the Arctic -Development, organized by the Orthodox oligarch Malofeev’s round table, which Jacob Tislenko led, the Arctic was called the Russian region and offered the uninhabited archipelago of the Northern land to rename Emperor Nicholas II into the land of Emperor.

“On our Arctic, the offensive is also conducted by ideological means. And only the return of the name of Nicholas the Second will allow everything to be put from his head! ” - asserted one of the speakers, alas, without arguing such an entertaining thesis. How exactly the renaming of uninhabited islands will help the country in difficult geopolitical affairs, alas, remained unclear.

Jacob himself is not alien to journalism. It stigmatizes same -sex marriages, then assures that the activities of foreign missionaries in the Arctic threatens the state border.

And in order to neutralize this threat, it is urgent to strengthen missionary activities, but for this “the Church must receive the support of the state and those structures that master the natural wealth of the Arctic”. And he receives - one of his expeditions, for example, was fully provided by RusHydro.

The bishop himself is familiar with the business. Now he is the director of the Arctic Cathedral ANO, which should finance the construction of temples. Often such structures are created in order to receive state financing (the budget cannot sacrifice religious organizations), but in the April report of the ANO on the website of the Ministry of Justice it was noted that she receives income from some kind of entrepreneurial activity. The amount of income is unclear, but unpaid taxes in court have repeatedly collected from the “cathedral”.

In addition, according to the SPARK-Interfax database, Evgeny Ivanovich Tislenko, what is the name of the Passport of Vladyka, is a co-owner of the Moscow Intellect-Consulting LLC. In the company that is engaged in the services of boots, two people work, it gives a small profit. The bishop has only 5%, but the second co -owner - the company "Nika" - turned out to be linden, inaccurate. With this “Nika”, Tislenko previously jointly owned two more consulting firms- “Sheriff Center” and “Sheriff”. "Internet consulting", "Nika" and "Sheriff" together were co-owners of the publishing company RIF-Media.

Earlier, at the address where the Intellect-Consulting company was registered, was Talveg JSC (the main activity-real estate operations), which was also a co-owner of Tislenko until 2019. Well, another former possession of our hero is the security company "Business Security Center". It is also associated with the above companies. In all of them, Tislenko had small shares already when they were a bishop.

And now the most interesting of his businesses. Until 2018, Tislenko was listed as a co -owner of the Moscow LLC “St. Pechora” , among the types of activity - consulting and construction. Who was his partner in this matter? The second co -owner (shares were distributed 50 to 50) - Ildar Neverov, the current director of Arcticogulus and the partner of Tislenko in Norwegian adventures.

Where did Nemov come from? This is a person from the Moscow Regional Directorate - a former general director and co -owner of Ecotechnopark LLC, who built a landfill in the Ruzsky district. Residents protested, predicted the infection of lakes with sewage waters, the company denied everything, in 2019 they put into operation, and a year later, an emergency local emergency was declared-according to the examination, the filtrate allegedly fell into the water.

The beneficiary of Ecotechno Park, according to SPARK, is Olesya Ruzavina. And together with Nikolai Ruzavin, Neverov, according to the documents of the “Panama archive”, owns the Cyprus offshore Siberia Metals Ltd. Speaking in the media, Neverov seemed to be the "Business Ombudsman for Ecology and Nature Management." But such a position does not exist.

If Neverov is a worldly man, then Tislenko, like any bishop, is a monk. That is, he cannot own any property - the vow gave such a vow. But it can be assumed that Jacob simply has his own vision of the issue.

As, for example, in the case of what the triumph of Orthodoxy is. So he tells how he scared the American submarine: “When we made a circle over the pole, we suddenly saw an American submarine.
