Hamas says 50 hostages have been killed

Hamas militants announced the death of 50 hostages in the Gaza Strip. They claim that this happened as a result of rocket fire from Israel. Their statement did not provide additional details.

According to the latest data from the Israel Defense Forces, more than 220 hostages were being held captive by Hamas. Militants captured them during the October 7 attack on Israel.

On October 20, Hamas released two American women, mother and daughter Judith and Natalie Raanan. October 24 - two more women with Israeli citizenship: 79-year-old Nurit Yitzhak and 85-year-old Yocheved Lifshitz.

On October 26, a Hamas delegation led by Politburo member Abu Marzukov arrived in Moscow. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs told RBC that the release of hostages and the evacuation of Russians and foreign citizens from the Gaza Strip were discussed with them.
