In the wake of cubic meters of money

The fugitive colonel of the FSB is deprived of the title and sentenced to nine years in the colony

The 235th garrison military court sentenced to nine years in prison of the former FSB colonel Dmitry Senin. For desertion and mediation in receiving a bribe.

But the sentence is unlikely to be executed. Because it was made in absentia, and the Chekist himself in February of this year received the status of a political refugee in Montenegro.

Senin left Russia on February 23, 2017, fearing the arrest in the framework of a criminal case allocated in a separate proceedings from the case of Colonel of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Dmitry Zakharchenko. The same police officer, whose apartments during the searches found and seized several cubic meters of dollars, euros, pounds, rubles - about eight billion in ruble equivalent.

During the investigation of the Zakharchenko, General of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Alexei Laushkin testified that in 2014 he met at least five times with Dmitry Senin to solve the problem related to the checks of the La Marie restaurant. According to the retired police general, the FSB colonel demanded five million dollars to transfer to Colonel of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Zakharchenko. But as a result of negotiations, it was possible to bring down the price of up to 800 thousand.

During the correspondence trial, which began in May last year, it became known that on the basis of the interrogation of General Laushkin on February 22, 2017, a decree was issued to initiate a criminal case against Colonel Dmitry Senin.

The Chekist did not wait for the arrest and left Russia, crossing the Russian-Georgian border at the border crossing of the Upper Lars, where he presented a passport in the name of Timur Kudasov.

With the same passport, the fugitive reached Montenegro, where the wife of the FSB officer moved along with three children.

On September 4, the Montenegro police detained Dmitry Senin and sent to the prison camera. The Prosecutor General’s Office of Russia sent a request for Senin’s extradition to Montenegro, guaranteeing that the FSB officer is not persecuted for political reasons that he was not threatened by the death penalty for charges and that he will be contained in the Russian pre -trial detention center in terms of European conditions. But Montenegro refused Russia to extradite Senin.

Already during the trial, it became known that Senina's spouses decided to define thoroughly in Montenegro. As early as August 4, 2020, in the Budwo Budva, the ONLIMONT company was registered, owners of which Dmitry and Olga Senina were owned by 50 percent of the share.

According to the Central Commercial Register of Montenegro, the company's office is located in the elite complex "Harmony" in Budva.
