The modern Russian authorities have not formed any ideological goals, and therefore the inexplicability of what is happening replaces the rational principle, in the place of which the mysticism comes - gloomy “spirituality”. With the support of preachers from the Russian Orthodox Church and myth-workers' philosophers, this “spirituality” reaches the scale of the new religion, in the center of which is the cult of death. If at the same time they recall Orthodoxy, then purely “technically”, mentioning the peacekeeping commandments of Christ and appealing to battle stories from the Old Testament and Russian history.
The president somehow mentioned that the “deep roots of our patriotism” are in the desire to die in front of the maximum number of people (“in the world”), and it is the Russians as martyrs that will go to heaven, and their enemies will “simply die”. These words are creatively rethought by Patriarch Kirill, who is trying to give a new sound to Russian Orthodoxy.
After the start of partial mobilization in September last year, he assured that the death on the battlefield “washing off all the sins that a person committed”, this is the most direct road to paradise. There is no longer a need for faith, the performance of commandments and good deeds, religion is reduced to a single act - sacrifice of oneself.
After all, according to Cyril’s teachings , “has not physical, but metaphysical meaning,” and if Christ says “love your enemies, bless the cursing you, have a benevolent you who hate you and pray for those who offend you” (Matthew 5:44), then Cyril corrects him : “Forgiveness without justice is capitulation and weakness.”
Before our eyes, a new religion is born, which is trying to embed itself into a political context. The head of the Russian Orthodox Church argues about international law: "There are institutions that have the legal right to use force by forceing (...) other countries, if they see a threat in them to ensure that this threat is not." But such a position is conflicting not only with the Gospel, but also with the own social concept of the Russian Orthodox Church, compiled by the current Patriarch a quarter of a century ago, “in a past life” .
That document divides the wars into conditionally fair and unfair: “War is evil. His reason, like evil in man in general, is the sinful abuse of God -given freedom ... recognizing the war with evil, the Church still does not prohibit its children to participate in the hostilities, if we are talking about protecting their neighbors and restoring the right -bearing justice. Then the war is considered an undesirable, but forced means. ” Otherwise, the document says
“The church must refuse to obey the state. The Christian, following the command of conscience, may not fulfill the commands of the authorities for a serious sin. ”
Nowadays, the calls to death have become the central topic of sermons of the Hierarchs of the Russian Orthodox Church - “Commissars in the cassors”. The head of one of the patriarchal commissions, Metropolitan Murmansk Mitrofan, convinces his parishioners : in earthly life there is no joy. “If you are given a favorable case to die without hesitation, take this step, because it is not known whether such a case will present you,” Mitrofan calls.
The Patriarchate of the Patriarchate Bishop of Zelenograd Savva goes on, recalling that
All Christians and so died in baptism, when they “spared Christ”, it remains only to fulfill the commandment “to put the soul for their friends”.
Without noticing the commandments “not to kill”, more precisely - interpreting it in the exact opposite way , the Hierarchs of the Russian Orthodox Church say about the need for the murder: “Everyone who is involved in decision -making <in Ukraine> must be eliminated” (Metropolitan Klinsky Leonid). Another, peacekeeping point of view in the Russian Orthodox Church is now almost not heard: few priests who tried to pray for peace were severely punished . How the Professor of the Omsk Theological Seminary summarizes the Russian Orthodox Church Sergey Sizov: “No war!” Supporters of the defeat of Russia shout in our country. This is a party of national traitors and panties. ”
But there is one nuance. Preaching the need for quick death, the leadership of the Russian Orthodox Church achieved armor from mobilization for all its clergy and ministers, including seminarians . The preaching of death needs living performers.
The true ideologist of the current cult of death (“Tanatolatry”) is Alexander Dugin, who also found understanding in the Russian Orthodox Church, a marginal radical and one of the creators of the National-Bolshevik party ( recognized as extremist and prohibited in the Russian Federation ), and now the ruler of the Duma of the Russian political elite. The Russian Orthodox Church provided Dugin with a tribune in the format of the World Russian People’s Cathedral, headed by Patriarch personally, and listeners of the Academy of the General Staff of the RF Armed Forces comprehend the secrets of geopolitics on his textbook .
In the mid-90s, Dugin's father, General GRU, introduced his son to General Rodionov, the head of the academy, who later became the Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation and was carried away by the eccentric teaching of the “ideologist of Eurasianism”. At the beginning of the zero, Dugin became an adviser to the Speaker of the State Duma Seleznev, then taught at Moscow State University and even headed the department at the sociology at the “Orthodox-patriotic” dean of Dobrenkov,
Although the presence of Dugin of legal higher education has questions. Today he is the leader of the international Eurasian movement and an honorary professor of universities in Astana, Tehran and Shanghai.
“The point of support should be sought only in death,” Dugin teaches . - This is the only way to establish religion, culture, art and politics. Life is too variable to be a point of support. " In fact, this path is directly opposite to Christianity, which strives for the extermination of death, calling it the "last enemy" (1 Cor., 15:26). But the gloomy tanatulatric philosopher admires her :
QUOTES
“Death in war is just death as such: in its pure form ... new theology gives rise to it. So we have to talk about him. ”“We break our dead some impenetrable wall. When we finish, such a sweet, such clear light will pour from the breaks. ”
The ideological formation of the ideologist of death “New” spoke in the context of modern occult practices of the Kremlin.
Dedicated from the second year of the Moscow Aviation Institute, in the late 70s, Dugin entered the underground Yuzhinsky circle, organized by Esoteric writer Yuri Mamleev. There, the young Dugin was carried away by the radical ideas of the French traditionalist Rene Genon, who believed in the “Jewish conspiracy” and the birth of the Antichrist “from the tribe of Danov”, and the Italian mystical neo -fascist Julius Evola, who promoted the “Arionordic tradition”. It was Evola in the trial against him in Italy that guessed to rename fascism into “traditionalism”, under the brand of which he continued to preach caste society, racism and nationalism.
At the age of 18, Dugin entered the underground “Black Order SS”, led by Evgeny Golovin (died in 2010), and under the characteristic pseudonym Hans Zivers wrote down the album of his own songs “Bloody Libete”. Probably, then the first contacts with the KGB, which was particularly closely controlled by the radical underground, took place.
As Dugin recalled, with the support of his father, he gained access to the KGB archives, where he studied, in particular, the trophy materials of the Occult unit of the SS “Anenerbe” (“Heritage of the Ancestors”).
In his book “Hyperborean theory”, he sets out in detail the ideology of the head of “Anenerbe” Hermann Virta. With children's span, Dugin admires the fantasies of Virta, romantically calling him the heir to the Templars and Gibellins.
The geopolitical doctrine of the philosopher developed under the influence of another ideologist of the Third Reich - Karl Haushofer, who headed the German Academy under Hitler and edited the GEOPOLITIK magazine until 1944. It was he who formulated the doctrine of “Eurasianism”, which Russians know under the name of Duginskaya: the continental block with centers in Berlin, Moscow and Tokyo confronts the Atlantic block controlled by the Anglo -Saxons.

In the first program of the NBP compiled by Dugin, something like the Empire from Vladivostok to Gibraltar was proclaimed on the basis of Russian civilization, and the means of achieving it, a hatred of liberalism and democracy and the creation of a hierarchical society with irremovable sacred power are announced. The slogan "Long live the war!" Dugin first proclaimed in 1994 in connection with the commissioning of Russian troops into Chechnya. He took this moment as the beginning of the end of liberalism in Russia.
Already in the zero ideologist, he raised the question of the liquidation of Ukraine, and in 2014 he so ardently supported the “Russian spring” that he paid for the professor at Moscow State University. “To kill, kill and kill,” Dugin answered the question of how the Russian Federation should respond to a tragedy in Odessa on May 2. - There should be no more conversations. As a professor, I think so. "
The Prophet of the new religion calls himself an “Orthodox Old Believers”, “co -religionist”, sometimes travels to the temple in the Mikhailovskaya Sloboda near Moscow and even tries to sing on the clergy with a banner scribble. But, as can be seen from his labors, Dugin does not have the slightest attitude to Christianity-this is an occult-esoteric mix of various religious traditions, densely involved in conspiracyology.
In the search for “secret knowledge”, Dugin studies and publishes in his almanac “End of the World” of the essay of the English “Black Magician” and the founder of the Order of the Eastern Templars of Alister Crowley, close to Satanism ( newly wrote about this).
The Eurasian “geopolitics” of Dugina was built on Zoroastrian dualism - the faith in the presence of two equal -founds in the world: good and evil (in our case, Eurasia and West, “land” and “seas”), which are fighting each other until the end of time.
On his last year’s “philosophical cathedral”, Dugin directly admitted: “Only when there are two gods, the war has an absolute character.”
Humanity "Philosopher" divides into three main groups:
Absolutely right,
Purely conservative,
Absolutely left.
The latter belong to the residents of the West, passionate about comfort and the arrangement of earthly life. To the second-ordinary people, supporters of "exoteric", mass-conservative religiosity. Only the first group unites truly elected, “dedicated” - in order to get there, you need to go through various initiations.

Based on the methodology of Genon, Dugin refers to “esoteric” religions Orthodoxy and Shiism, and “exoteric” - Catholicism/Protestantism and Sunnism (the Russian Orthodox Church now also talk about the greater proximity of Orthodoxy to Islam than to Western Christianity). Dugin considers the oldest esoteric in Orthodoxy, attributing to him the occult-language attributes of the “integral tradition”.
But the main difference between the Duginsky religion and Christianity is not this. In his book “Metaphysics of the Good News”, Dugin leads the old -faith from the fictional pagan mysteries equally fictional Hyperborea and claims that God as a person does not exist - He lives only inside the “subject of divine nature”. In Orthodoxy, each of the hypostases of the Holy Trinity - the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit can be called.
But Dugin calls that ... himself! The subject is an extremely dedicated person to the esoteric tradition, "outside of which there is no God." The subject not only controls God, but also shows it, only through the subject God joins being.
From an Orthodox point of view, such a teaching is a kind of mystical atheism, based on an extremely pride. According to Andrei Kuraev ,
Dugin wants to “digest Orthodoxy in bondage. It is enough to recall his article “Messianism of Kabbalah”. The undisguised apology of terror, the thirst to turn Orthodoxy into a revolutionary-terrorist ideology. ”

25 years ago, Dugin first came to the cathedral of the Russian Orthodox Old Believer Church (RPSC), where he urged the Old Believers to "resist the spiritual and political danger coming from the West." When the former communist Kornilius (Titov) became the Primate of the RPSC in 2005, Dugin became a frequent guest in his residence in the Rogozhsky cemetery of Moscow.
Soon, Kornili noticed Putin, and in 2017 he personally visited him in Rogozhsky. For the first time in the history of the Old Believers, the head of the church became a zealous preacher of the subordination of earthly power and the struggle with the West, where for centuries the Old Believers fled from the persecution of the Russian - tsarist or Soviet - power. At the opening of the RPSC Cathedral 2023, a few days ago, Cornelius reproduced the main theses of Dugin’s ideology: he called his formidable confrontation “with the carriers of world evil - the Satanic destructive ideology of the West”, called to fight to the end with the “globalism of the Western world, where there was now no place for God” and even regretted the collapse of the USSR, during which it was closed and vocational 96% Old Believer temples.
The warlike position of the cornium led to the department of the RPSC of the Old Believer Archbishopia of Ukraine, and the other day the main center of the Old Believers - the Belokrinitsky Metropolitan in Romania - excommunicated the Rogozhsky hierarch from church communication. The World Council of the Old Believers advises in this regard that the Russian Old Believers who disagree with the policy of Cornelius consider the Primate of the Belokrinitsky Metropolitan Leonty and remember him in their prayers.

As a permanent representative of Eurasianism, under the Metropolitan of Corneliy and the RPSC, Dugin squeezed his closest assistant, the former leader of the Eurasian Youth Union, and now the director of the Center for Geopolitical Expertise, Valery Korovin. Thanks to his participation in the compilation of articles and messages, Kornilia Duginsky Eurasianism became popular among the clergy and laity of the RPSC.
The official website of this church promotes Dugin’s ideas signed by a certain Kiril Mikhailov. Contrary to the Orthodox doctrine, these texts proclaim the “timelessness” and “invariability” of a certain original tradition, as well as the “combination of the kingdom and the church”, the “caste division of society”, “the identification of the national and religious factors of identity” and the “universal mission of the Russian people”. The representative of the Belokrinitsky Metropolis, seeing the heresy in these texts, resembles the words of Christ “Caesarean Caesar, and God God” and the Apostle Paul - “There is neither Elina nor Judea ... but everything is in everything.”
The Christian church, by definition, cannot be nationalist, this is the lot of pagans.
Dugina is not considered their own in academic circles, because his worldview is fundamentally anti -ship. A teacher of the University of Omsk Vladimir Semenkov says that Dugin replaces scientific philosophy "literature in the modus of Fiction, or rather, the discourse of the myth." The basis of the Duginsky worldview is irrational intuitions and the "experience of imagination." The ideologist of death has no intelligible positive program: he only preaches the struggle - with modern, with globalism, with capitalism, with democracy, with a “godless” science, etc. The struggle in the name of a vaguely understood tradition, which stems from a certain Hyperborea, to the end of the inexpressible words and understandable only to the "great dedicated."
“Chaos of ideas and terms,” writes one of the critics of Duginism, “is very convenient to skip from one position to another all the time and never be responsible for their words. Therefore, when Dugin is needed - he is “right”, and when it is not necessary - “left”; When necessary - a conservative, and when it is not necessary - a revolutionary; When necessary - a strict orthodox, and when it is not necessary - a free visionary; When necessary - a nationalist, and when it is not necessary - the Eurasian, etc., the list of these oppositions is endless. "
Let us suggest that the true basis of all this religion / philosophy / ideology / new Russia / Eurasianism lies in the field of mental: this is the personal war of Dugin with reality, which at some point was cut with the ideas of power elites.
“With what surrounds us, we must tear - decisively, seriously, total, forever,” exclaims Dugin.
The first wife of Dugin-Evgenia Debryanskaya, who later became one of the leaders of the Soviet LGBT movement, recalls: “Alexander exuded a deadly poison. Alexander appeared in my life to destroy it. ”
... But what about the Russian Orthodox Church-why did the 2000-year-old Christian tradition do not protect from paranoia? According to the Patriarch Bartholomew of Constantinople, religion as such is not interested in the Russian power elites (and the quasi -religious institution that serves him), church arguments are used by them only to expand their geopolitical space. Within the framework of this purely “auxiliary function” and the Russian Orthodox Church operates. The remnants of the natural civilization of life in Russia, of course, are trying to defend themselves from the aggressively advancing cult of death, but the Russian Orthodox Church is not on their side.
