The Cheryomushkinsky District Court of Moscow granted the request of the investigation and extended the period of detention under house arrest of the administrator of the Moscow Calling telegram channel Andrey Kurshin as part of the case of “fake news” about the army based on political hatred (clause “e”, part 2 of article 207.3 of the Criminal Code). Kurshin was detained on August 31 at the Leningradsky station, and the next day the court sent him under house arrest. The reason for the persecution of the man was two posts published on his Telegram channel last fall.
