Some five days ago, October 25, Vladimir Putin (and, according to some versions-his double) listened to the Kremlin’s Catherine Hall () the assurances of the heads of the “traditional” faiths of Russia that they fully control the situation, and no interfessional conflicts, especially anti-Semitism or Islamophobia, are impossible in today's Russia.
In the next to this “historical” (and the unhistorical President of the Russian Federation), a meeting of the Sunday day a crowd of angry Muslims in search of Jews Gromil Makhachkala airport and demanded that the passengers “curse smelly Israel” in search of Jews.
Aggressive anti -Semitic actions were held at the end of October and in other cities of the Russian Caucasus: Cherkessk, Nalchik (where they burned the Jewish Cultural Center under construction) and Khasavyurt (where they wanted to burn the hotel).
All this was preceded by the go-ahead of the top-player of the Kremlin Dmitry Kiselev, made on the air of the “main information-analytical program” of state TV: “Anti-Semitism is the cultural norm of Islam,” we must accept this.
But how beautiful religious leaders sang their posture beautifully! And how complacently the man who personifies the president of the great power listened to them! Truly, they live in the astral plane, "under them without sensing the country." Speaking about the outrages of religious grounds in the world, Patriarch Kirill thanked Putin and God, that "nothing like in Russia takes place." The head of the Central Spiritual Directorate of the Muslims of Russia (Tsuchu) Mufti Talgat Tajuddin, who has been holding his post since Brezhnev times, said that “there have never been a confrontation of traditional denominations in our country” (and the Judaists are also among them), and connected the current unprecedented consolidation of Russian society with the great (and bloody) values of “Svo”.

The main rabbi (according to the Federation of the Jewish communities of Russia - Feor), who was born in an American Hasid family and is still a speaker with a noticeable English accent, Berl Lazar, is also happy to live in Russia. He “all the time” here feels “peace and mutual respect between people from different peoples, different cultures, different faiths. In many other countries there are no interethnic or interfaith joint projects. ” He accustomedly assured Putin’s Lazar and in the absence of anti -Semitism in the Russian Federation: he said that even on the streets (if you look from the limousine window?) He is practically not visible.
But only a few days passed - and the religious leaders of the Russian Federation dragged out a completely different, sad song. Everything that they vied with Putin turned out to be a fairy tale, unrealistic dreams. The head of the Russian Orthodox Church responded to events at the Makhachkala airport only after lunch on October 30 - apparently, for a long time he could not recover from the shock or waited for the Kremlin training manual. Having expressed sorrow, he recognized “an attempt to sow the discord between the Muslims and Jews of Russia” and called for the root of the problem not inside the country, but beyond its borders - after all, all the problems of Russia, as you know, stem from the fact that its enemies surround it, and all other countries envy it. At the same time, the Patriarch unexpectedly described the “confrontation” between Palestine and Israel as “alien to us”.

The veteran of Gosislav Talgat Tajuddin is still silent, but his younger confessional competitor - Moscow Mufti Ravil Gainutdin - signed a rather lengthy appeal of the spiritual administration of the Muslims of the Russian Federation, in which he admitted that the conflict on the Holy Land is also transferred to Russia.
Explaining why anti -Semitism is unacceptable for Muslims, Mufti reminded the interesting episode from the history of his religion: “The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was married to a Jew of Safia, created the first“ constitution of Medina ”on the basis of mutual respect for Muslims and Jews, always emphasized the proximity of our religions.” Ravil Gainutdin offered the authorities his services: “They are ready to explain to representatives of the authorities of Islam to such excesses and declare the need to intensify state-confessional interaction, without waiting for the situation.”

True, the electrified Muslim “street”-as in the Middle East, so now in the Russian Federation-does not really listen to the officially monitoring votes of status Islamic officials. It is more susceptible to radical calls from the underground and from foreign centers, such as the movements of Hamas or Hezbollah, recognized as terrorist in many Western countries, but not in the Russian Federation.
During the assault on the airport, the Mufti Dagestan Sheikh Akhmad Abdulaev directly called its participants: "Leave the airport, leave this business." He even supported the anti -Semitic demands of the crowd that captured the airport: “The arrival of aircraft from Israel to Dagestan land must be stopped by the other way. We must talk with those departments that oversee the airport, we must speak with the leadership of the republic. The mufti will take these negotiations on himself. ” But no one listened to the mufti, the riots stopped a few hours later in the traditional way - the intervention of special forces and the Russian Guard.

According to Feor, about 700 Jewish families live in Dagestan, who not only do not feel safe, but also do not know where to run, waiting for the surge of anti -Semitic sentiments and the beginning of pogroms and in other regions of Russia. This was told by the representative of the chief rabbis of Russia in the region of Ovadya Isakov. “People from the community are afraid, they call, but I don’t know what to advise. One woman turned to the district police officer for help, and he said: “Well, you see what you are doing with their children there.” She tried to explain what Hamas was doing, but for the district police officer, the opposite is true. The whole world is turned over for him and everyone else ... Russia is not salvation, there were also pogroms in Russia. It is not clear where to run, ”concludes a Jewish leader.
The official website of the Federation of Jewish communities of Russia periodically disappeared from access on the morning of October 30. The work of Islamic hackers or what is worse?

President of the Federation Rabbi Alexander Boroda recognized the fact of open aggression against Russian Jews; According to the 2021 census, a little more than 80 thousand remained in the country.
Beard accused Dagestan’s authority of unreason and connivance of unreason. In this regard, President Feor already called on the federal authorities to punish the organizers and participants of the anti -Semitic actions of recent days in the North Caucasus (and these are hundreds, if not thousands of people). The rabbi beard made it clear that the federal authorities were to blame for the incitement of anti -Semitic sentiments, one -sidedly illuminating the events in Palestine in the media (primarily on television), pushing the audience to “radical views”.

The current Russian authorities, continuing and justifying “Svo”, are, in principle, deprived of tools to combat anti -Semitic sentiments, which usually flare up in countries in a state of high political turbulence. Over the year and a half, representatives of the authorities and the propaganda faithful to them made a lot to weave the concepts of “fascism”, “Ukrainian Nazism”, “Zionism” and “World Jewry” in the heads of Russians. The “patriotic” public requires the sending participants of anti -Semitic pogroms in the Caucasus to the “Swear” zone, popularly explaining to them that the President of Ukraine is a Jew, leads the Ukrainian authorities “world Jewry”, which means that “denazification” of Ukraine is a truly anti -Semitic project, where it is necessary to send their “righteous” anger.
No matter how carefully the experts tried to look for the distinctive features of the Putin regime and German national socialism of the 80-year ago, it is becoming increasingly difficult to find them. And this means that there is no antidote against anti -Semitism in today's Russia, and the wave of pogroms will only increase. In general, save who can!
