The Southern District Military Court fined a resident of the Astrakhan region 300 thousand rubles under the article on public calls for terrorism on the Internet (Part 2 of Article 205.2 of the Criminal Code). This was reported by local media with reference to the press service of the Astrakhan FSB Directorate.
He was also banned from administering websites for two years and driving vehicles for three months. The case was opened due to posts on social networks. It is not reported which publications the security forces did not like, but, according to the department, they were directed against representatives of government bodies of the Russian Federation.
