Most Russians would support the immediate cessation of hostilities in Ukraine, follows from the Levada Center survey . However, most of the respondents do not agree that Ukraine be returned to the territory captured by Russia.

As part of a survey about the war, which Levada conducts every month, respondents randomly were divided into two equal groups. The first group was asked the question: “If this week President Vladimir Putin decided to stop the military conflict with Ukraine, would you support or did not support this decision?”
