An Israeli Defense Forces strike on the Jabaliya refugee camp in the Gaza Strip destroyed an area "the size of a football field." “The entire area was destroyed,” Kamal Massoud told the publication hours after the IDF carried out a series of strikes on the camp. According to him, several residential buildings were completely destroyed, and craters remained in the concrete.

During the past 24 hours, the Israeli army struck the Jabaliya refugee camp in Gaza twice. On the evening of October 31, the Gaza Ministry of Health, which is controlled by Hamas militants, announced the first strike on the city of Jabaliya. Later, IDF spokesman Daniel Hagari confirmed that Israeli aircraft carried out a strike that killed Hamas Jabaliya battalion commander Ibrahim Biari and also collapsed the terrorist group's underground infrastructure. In turn, another Israeli army spokesman, Richard Hecht , said that the Hamas commander was "hiding behind the backs of civilians."

The next day, IDF officials reported that Israeli planes "struck a Hamas command and control complex in Jabaliya." They also added that as a result of this strike, “Hamas terrorists were destroyed.”

The Israeli military has repeatedly stated that militants of the Palestinian formation Hamas are building their infrastructure under and around civilian buildings, thereby deliberately endangering Gaza civilians.
