Conspirological ideology is always about resentment, and as a foundation for building something productive is not suitable

However, the Russian political class, as now can be seen, remained mentally at the time of the late Cold War, offended by the fact that he was moved from the top of the two -polar world. Or he himself moved in view of economic and ideological irrationality. Not the point. The task of the Kremlin both within Russia and around the world was to show that Russia is a world outsider with talents and resources, challenging the omnipotent West. This strategy has launched a powerful propaganda system within Russia, as a result of which dozens of conspiracy theories appeared, and bookstores and media (with rare exceptions) turned into exhibitions of the achievements of Kremlin misinformation.
16 years after Putin’s performance in Munich, Patrushev announced the same agenda, slightly flavored modern conspiracy about transgender people, technocrats and transhumanists.
However, in reality, both real foreign policy losses and the reputation costs since 2007 have rather made a subcutaneous and low -residential agenda.
Like any classic conspiracyologist, Patrushev is sure that he lives at the turn of the time and is personally involved in the fight of tectonic forces that reformat the system of international relations. “Within the framework of this model, a narrow group of states built a pyramid, established at its top and endowing itself with exceptional powers” - this is how his article begins, full of allusions either on the global gang of Frankmason with a pyramid on a dollar bill, or simply for a global mafia.
The author draws a picture of the world in which an ominous minority destroys and spoils the life of the majority of the population. All evil comes from them - “Westerners” and globalists who subjugated the whole world and built the world as a global gang of robbers. “The essence of this system is simple: everyone who is at a lower tier must meekly and almost free of charge to transfer part of their own resources - material, financial, intellectual, human. In fact, we are dealing with a multi -level parasitic superstructure of a global scale. ” They rob colonies since the Middle Ages, and they hate Russia and are afraid because of natural resources, which, of course, want to get weapons. We have heard about this since at least 2006, and from Patrushev -from 2015.

In the best style of the KGB school textbook, Patrushev argues about the collection of personal data by global technological giants from the Semravoda-Downs section: “... their colleagues from information giants like Google, Meta*, Apple, Microsoft and Amazon are not even trying to hide the use of technologies for collecting personal data and social control all over the world.”

But Patrushev modestly remains silent for the scale of the data, every secondly obtained by Russian special services through the SORM system. However, this, of course, is different.
In the same style, another fact that demonizes the West: “Almost all modern large terrorist groups have been created, supplied and financed by Western special services that fulfill the decisions of the political leadership of their countries.” That is, no one has been hiding about the connections between the CIA and the Taliban for 20 years. About Al-Qaeda ** and the failure of the US policy also write revealing books. But about today's diplomatic romance of the Kremlin with Taliban ** and Hamas (especially in the light of the war in Israel) are modestly silent. The world should be multipolar, and there is only one world villain.
The many-sided West could not hide ties with terrorist organizations (thanks to a free press, including that now there is no inside Russia), but somehow he managed to build a system of global brainwashing to the population of planet Earth. Yes, so that no one noticed. “An effective non -union method of strengthening Western dominance was the psychological impact on residents of other countries and continents. For centuries, professional propagandists from the Old World built an argument according to which they not only carry good to other peoples, but supposedly do this in the form of charity, almost to the detriment of themselves. ” In this context of the US intelligence services (and who else?), Democratic leaders-puppets for countries-colonies. Patrushev recalls the shadows of the long -past days of color revolutions - the trigger of the fears of the Russian elite, forgetting his own plans to put loyal politicians in post -Soviet countries, and in the United States themselves, as it turns out now.
The text of Patrushev also allows you to see how vividly the Russian elite is self -which self -disclosure and its inability to determine world policy and build its pyramid of colonialism in dependent territories.

This decade will take place under the slogans of import substitution and rejection of the dollar ”) sounds like a dream, and not a real program of action of a political actor who really gives a report to his actions.
The publication in the journal "Scout", apparently, is a programmatic appeal to the power elites that Russia is turning into a fortress, but with a developed system of communication with third world countries. However, this is not a fortress, it is a bunker, buried in the ground, from which there is no way out. The author forgets that conspiracy ideology is always about pain, loss and resentment, and as a foundation for building something productive is never suitable. So, the whole pathos about the "collapse of empires" can also become a self -retreating prophecy.
