A radiologist from a Moscow clinic was sent under house arrest in the case of justifying terrorism

The Chertanovsky District Court of Moscow placed under house arrest radiologist Arkady Shanin-Vinokurov, accused of justifying terrorism on the Internet (Part 2 of Article 205.2 of the Criminal Code). This was reported by the joint press service of the capital's courts.

According to the case file on the court’s website, the court registered a petition to select a preventive measure for Shanin-Vinokurov on November 2. The Moscow department of the Investigative Committee yesterday reported on the detention of a 34-year-old man accused of the same article.

According to investigators, in June last year he wrote a comment “about justifying terrorism” under a post in a telegram channel that said “about a crime committed.” The person involved in the case was searched and charges were brought against him.

According to site the review Zoon , Shanin-Vinokurov works at the Megascan X-ray diagnostic medical center in Moscow. On the center's page it is indicated that Arkady Shanin-Vinokurov is an x-ray technician. According to “Caution News”, the doctor lives in the closed city of Krasnoznamensk near Moscow.
