Russian President Vladimir Putin will pay an official visit to Kazakhstan on November 9. this , citing the press service of the President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. reports Interfax
They clarified that the heads of the two states will hold negotiations, during which they will discuss current issues of the Kazakh-Russian strategic partnership. It is also planned that Putin and Tokayev will take part in the 19th Forum of Interregional Cooperation between Kazakhstan and Russia, which will be held in Kostanay, via video conferencing.
The trip to Kazakhstan will be Putin's third foreign visit since the International Criminal Court in The Hague issued an arrest warrant for him in March 2023, accusing him of involvement in the deportation of Ukrainian children from territories occupied by Russian troops.
In October, Putin went to the CIS summit in Bishkek and then paid an official visit to China.
