In the St. Petersburg club "Cosmonaut", riot police officers disrupted a concert of the musical group Zero People. This was reported by the SHOT telegram channel. According to Fontanka , about 300 visitors to the establishment were placed face down on the floor.
According to SHOT, riot police officers arrived at the Cosmonaut club a few minutes before the start of the musicians’ performance. They put people face down on the floor, after which they began checking their documents. The Zero People performance has been cancelled.
“Everything is very slow, two policemen are checking,” said a Fontanka reader.
According to 78.RU and SHOT, the organizers of the concert “hidden until the last moment” the location of the concert; it was announced only in a secret chat. The telegram channel “Mash on the Moika” claims that the special services responded after receiving a message about the terrorist attack.
SHOT and Baza write that the reason for the appearance of riot police at the Cosmonaut club was the statements of Zero People leader Alexander Krasovitsky about Russia. The musician part-time leads the group “Animal Jazz”, whose concerts were canceled earlier.
Earlier, members of the Russian public movement “Call of the People” demanded that Animal Jazz concerts be canceled and that the group itself be recognized as a “foreign agent.” According to them, “the musicians called Russia toxic and abusive, and in protest they sang the song “Without a Fight” by the group “Okean Elzy”.”
