The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has launched production of luxury cars of the Russian brand Aurus. This was announced by the head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade Denis Manturov.

“Production started today. It is planned to release Senat and Komendant. Let’s start with the Senat,” he said.

Manturov clarified that the sedan assembly site is located in Abu Dhabi, but did not disclose the name of the partner. According to him, they also plan to open a salon for the sale and customization of Aurus cars in the UAE. In the future, these machines are going to be supplied to other countries in the Middle East, including Saudi Arabia.

Aurus is the first Russian luxury car brand, which was created in 2013. The first mass production of the Aurus Senat model was launched in May 2021. The car costs more than 40 million rubles. there In November 2022, Aurus Komendant SUVs began to be produced , costing from 37 million rubles.
