State agencies wrote about the regrouping of Russian troops on the left bank of the Dnieper. The Ministry of Defense called it a “provocation”

On the morning of November 13, the state agencies RIA Novosti and TASS, citing the Ministry of Defense, reported the regrouping of Russian troops “east of the Dnieper.” The Russian military department called these publications a “provocation.”

“Having assessed the current situation, the command of the Dnepr group decided to transfer troops to more advantageous positions east of the Dnieper. After the regrouping, “Dnepr” will release part of the forces that will be used for the offensive,” stated the publications of TASS and RIA Novosti. Within minutes, the agencies canceled the reports.

The Ministry of Defense of RBC stated that “sending out a false message about the “regrouping” of troops in the Dnieper region, allegedly on behalf of the press center of the Russian Ministry of Defense, is a provocation.”

A year ago, the Ukrainian Armed Forces liberated Kherson. From that moment on, the front line runs along the Dnieper. The Russian military took up defensive positions on the left bank of the river.
