The administration of the colony where Alexei Navalny is serving his sentence does not hand over letters from his wife Yulia to him, claiming that they contain “signs of preparation for a crime.” A message about this appeared on the politician’s social networks.
“It’s just that every day the administration notifies me that Navalnaya’s next letter to Yu.B. cannot be handed over to me and confiscated by censorship, since it contains signs of preparation for a crime. All recent letters have suffered this fate. And I write to her: “Yulia, stop preparing a crime! It’s better to cook borscht for the children.” But she can't stop. He keeps inventing and inventing new crimes. And he keeps writing and writing to me about them in letters,” Navalny said.
Yulia Navalnaya published a letter from the politician on Instagram, in which he tells her about the seized correspondence. “I am very lucky with my husband. He’s smart and outwardly nothing, raising children from a colony, but he’s also a repeat offender, to whom they don’t even give letters from his wife. We need to look for something like this!” - she wrote.
A year ago, Yulia already reported that the colony administration did not hand over her letters to Navalny.
