Russian authorities issue arrest warrant for alleged administrator of Telegram channel blamed for Dagestan riots

The Russian authorities have issued an arrest warrant for Abakar Abakarov, the alleged administrator of the Telegram channel Morning Dagestan, which played a major role in spreading misinformation that contributed to anti-Semitic riots in the North Caucasus in October.

According to the Russian Interior Ministry’s warrant database, Abakarov is wanted in connection with unspecified felony charges.
