A radar system to combat drones has been installed at Moscow Sheremetyevo Airport. This was reported by TASS and RIA Novosti with reference to air port press releases.
We are talking about the ENOTH-SD complex, which is designed to automatically detect small drones, verify them and interfere with them.
It is noted that to increase the efficiency of the complex, Kaspersky Lab software will be used, which uses artificial intelligence and has no analogues.
The RENOT-SD complex was shown at the Transport of Russia exhibition, writes RBC. According to the publication, the device can also monitor ground targets and detect violations of the airport perimeter by people and wild animals.
In September, during regular drone attacks in the Moscow region, Sheremetyevo, Vnukovo and Domodedovo airports were forced to frequently close their airspace, causing dozens of aircraft to be delayed.
