The International Gymnastics Federation called the criteria for the admission of Russian gymnasts for continental and planetary competitions

For almost 120 days, the leaders of the sports gymnastic organization composed the rules, having completed which, athletes from our country (as well as from Belarus) can reach European and world platforms in neutral status. By and large, all urgent requests are not much different from the general regulations of the IOC, which were voiced by his President Thomas Bach in the spring. However, the real “hit” of the latest gymnastic requirements was the clause that domestic masters and craftswomen should pay from their own pockets to pay the work of detective agents who will prove their “correct political views”.

Many have already forgotten, but in fact, the decision on the admission of Russians to prestigious starts of the IOC back in March gave to sports federations. However, the Russian athletes did not become easier from such a seemingly positive step. For example, officials responsible for winter disciplines, the athletics association and the equestrian union, as well as the heads of almost all other physical cultural offices (with the exception of boxing, judo and tennis) did not take into account the position of the partially removed the global ban on the International Olympic Committee, and established the total and unrequited sludge of Russian athletes.

But gymnastic bosses reluctantly made concessions and presented their mandatory program for execution. Having passed it, Russians (representatives of sports and rhythmic gymnastics, as well as jumpers and jumpers on a trampoline) will get the opportunity to spin and spin abroad next year. But now you are fulfilling those requirements.

I immediately note: the ban on the performances of our teams is preserved.

You can’t do anything here. And this is especially disappointing, given that our boys and girls are the champions of the OI-2020 in Tokyo. There is no need to talk about the successes of miniature “artists”. But, I repeat, this “group” point is not a fiction and not a manifestation of FIG free -thinking, but only following the IOC advice, which in the spring left sanctions in force, but the protective measures that read that “all Russian athletes were removed from all tournaments in any form and status”, decided to “mitigate”. Let's remember the very criteria for admission, and then return to the gymnasts.

Here are the recommendatory wishes of the IOC:

• only in a neutral status (without a flag and anthem);

• without team sports (exclusively athletes individually);

• It is allowed to accept only those athletes that did not oppose the peacekeeping mission of the IOC and did not support the fighting openly;

• Athletes representing the Armed Forces of Russia or Security Agencies have no right to speak at competitions;

• All these athletes should follow anti -doping rules.

But the instructions of the IOC regarding the neutral status:

• Athletes should only act as impersonal athletes. They will be indicated by the words - Individual Neutral Athletes;

• Any emblems and logos are prohibited;

• Instead of a national flag, there should be a tournament flag or a flag can not be used at all;

• Instead of the state anthem - the anthem of the tournament, federation or you can not use the anthem in principle;

• The shape should be white or completely one -color. The athlete should not use the equipment that will be associated with the country. Logos or names of Russian sponsors, as well as any political statements are prohibited. The athlete is obliged to give the entire uniform before the tournament for verification in the federation;

• In order to comply with the principles of neutrality, athletes should not deal with Russian symbols (flag, anthem, emblem) during competitions and in media space (this concerns interviews, posts on social networks, and so on).

So what we have in the gymnastic area. “Artists” we immediately, as they say, take out the brackets, since the position of the president of this All -Russian Federation of Irina Winer does not imply any compromises at all.

In sports gymnastics, we do not have such generals, but with the current orders to fight on a foreign platform our envoy is almost unrealistic.

But, of course, there are those who own the “right” residence permit and have not lit up with anything live. But this is how - at first glance, “pure” virtuoso - it is also necessary to prove your “political neutrality” in order to find yourself on a foreign platform under the blue flag (by the way, the “artists”, according to the “Charter”, even objects should be white). Prove in the literal sense of the word.

In short, an invitation to competitions can be sent only to those athletes who did not support their own, starting with, sorry, began.

To check Russian candidates, namely: to study their interviews and performances in various media, to conduct an “X -ray” of their likes and reposts in all social networks, to look at their photos and look for “crime” on the clothes will be a special agency. Usually, detectives from the UK and America are hired for such procedures.

But the catch here is that the work of the “trackers” should pay in this case the persons interested in tournaments.

• Firstly, it is not very clear how to transfer the amount in dollars or euros outside the country in the current banking realities (how much the “service” will cost is also unclear).

• Secondly, as practice shows, the study of the athlete’s personal life occupies an unlimited amount of time among “experts”. That is, even having received money, the “detectives” may well complete their “examinations” after the end of an important forum (although, according to the rules, they should meet in 30 days).

• Thirdly, there are no clear rules regarding what is seditious and what is not. Moreover, detectives are not required to explain their negative conclusions. They are able to complain about any nonsense.

And, I will add from myself, they will be sure.

In general, I won’t be surprised if the gymnasts wave their foot and simply refuse a humiliating procedure in order not to spend money and nerves in vain. And do not forget that for flights outside the homeland you also need a visa.

And the International Federation made it clear that it would not punish the organizing country if, for some kind of reasons, she would not give a neutral athlete permission to enter ...

And personally, I want to ask the “wise” to Thomas Bach and officials from the Jesuit Fig two rhetorical questions: “Is it all necessary for a fig?”
