Lawyer Anastasia Pilipenko, who defends Victoria Petrov in the case of “fakes” about the army, spoke about the mockery of the client in a psychiatric hospital. According to her, Petrov was forced to undress for a "bodily examination" with men from medical personnel. In addition, when Petrova asked to change the gasket, the hospital staff began to laugh at her.

The human rights activist also reports that torture was applied to Petrova. She was tied by the arms and legs to the bed and pricked medications, from which she practically could not talk for two days, and also wringed her hands and promised to beat after she refused to wash in her soul with other people.

Earlier, at a meeting on an appeal for a preventive measure against Victoria Petrova, her “representative”, an employee of the municipal district, invited by the court, spoke. As her representative, he was supposed to act on the side of the defense, however, learning about the anti -war position of Petrova, he supported the side of the prosecution. He petitioned Petrova’s placement in a psychiatric hospital, and the court agreed with his proposal.

Victoria Petrova was detained in May 2022. She is accused of posting in VK some videos with Fakes on the Army, later remote by social network. Petrova does not admit his guilt. At the same time, the witness - prosecutor Nikita Lebedev, who allegedly discovered these publications - at the trial could not remember what exactly was contained in them. In August 2023, after a psychiatric examination, which concluded that Petrova supposedly could not exercise her rights at the hearing herself, the court decided to appoint a legal representative to her. He became an employee of the municipal district "Citizen".
