The Pskov court invalidated the media registration of the newspaper Citizen, which is produced by the Yabloko party. The court stated that the release of the Printing Publication of the newspaper “Citizen” was the last time at the Federal State Budgetary Institution “Russian State Library” and the GBBM “Pskov Regional Universal Scientific Library named after V. Ya. Kurbatov” on May 30, 2022, and in 2023 there were no copies. Based on this, Roskomnadzor decided that the newspaper violates the law “On the Media”, since it was not produced for more than a year.

Nevertheless, the lawyer of the Pskov Yabloko Maxim Kopytov said that the newspaper was released three times in 2023, but the first two issues were only electronically on the official website of the publication, the founder did not have enough funds for printed versions. The court replied that the lack of funds did not exempt the editors from the implementation of the "Law on Media."

Earlier in Pskov, Yabloko appealed all the decisions of the courts to cancel the registration of the party lists in the municipal elections. This was reported in the press service of the regional branch of the party.
