The court also confirmed that those arrested were connected with the pogroms at Makhachkala airport, but did not disclose their details. The Supreme Court of Dagestan has already considered 9 out of 17 complaints, all decisions have been left unchanged.

Earlier, lawyer Aza Aliyeva reported on the arrest of Patimat Sharutdinova. The woman was seen on video holding a Palestinian flag and chanting slogans at the airport. Moskovsky Komsomolets also wrote about the detention of 52-year-old furniture assembler from the village of Manasket, Gadzhi Imanmurzaev.

Makhachkala airport on the evening of October 29 was seized by a crowd looking for “refugees from Israel.” More than 20 people were injured, the airport was destroyed. The Investigative Committee opened a criminal case for mass riots.

According to the latest data, security forces conducted more than 50 searches, seized equipment and phones, “which constitute evidence of the involvement of these individuals in organizing and participating in mass riots.”

After the pogrom, Dagestan courts received 302 reports of violations of the rules of holding a rally.
