The court sentenced artist Alexandra Skochilenko to seven years in prison

The Vasileostrovsky court in St. Petersburg sentenced artist Alexandra Skochilenko to seven years in a general regime colony, Interfax reports .

Skochilenko was found guilty of spreading “fakes” about the army motivated by political hatred - Article 207.3 of the Criminal Code. The prosecution requested eight years in prison for the artist.

Alexandra was detained for an anti-war action: on March 31, 2022, she changed price tags in stores for anti-war leaflets with information about the shelling of the Mariupol Drama Theater and the death of residents.
