The Russian Interior Ministry has put former Deputy Finance Minister and former First Deputy Chairman of the Central Bank Sergei Aleksashenko on the wanted list. This was reported by TASS and Sota , citing the Interior Ministry's wanted list database.

According to the card, Aleksashenko is wanted under a criminal article. It is not specified under which article.

Journalist Oleg Kashin claims that the card with information about Aleksashenko being wanted has been in the Ministry of Internal Affairs database since 2018 "from the case of smuggling of orders."
