The Government of Finland closed checkpoints on the border with Russia in the southern part of the country

On the night of November 18, by the decision of the Finnish government, the checkpoints of Imatra, Niyrala, Nuyamaa and Baalimaa on the border with Russia. This led to problems for refugees: ok, and people relative: Tsami in Russia - November 18, they held a rally in the center of Helsinki.

The Government of Finland has decided to close the border points in connection with an increased stream migrant: approx. The country's Ministry of Finance Riika Purra accused Russia of a “hybrid operation”. Purra said that the remaining checkpoints can be closed "at least tomorrow." The decision led to the fact that at least 30 refugees: OK from Syria, Iraq, Pakistan, Egypt and Somali are stuck on the border - they were missed by the Russian side, but did not let the Finnish let them in. At the border, refugees clashes began: OK with the police and border services.

On November 18, a protest of Russian -speaking residents was held in the center of Helsinki: Ts Finland. They opposed the closure of the border. At least 100 people took part in the rally.

The country's defense minister admitted that the situation has become a “big problem” for people with Russian and Finnish passports. He claims that the country's government strives to "seeks to soften these problems."
