Egor Creed filed a lawsuit for the protection of honor and dignity against Ekaterina Mizulina

Russian singer Egor Creed (real name Egor Bulatkin) filed a lawsuit in the Zamoskvoretsky Court of Moscow against the Safe Internet League and its head Ekaterina Mizulina, reports . RIA Novosti

Information about the claim is posted in the file on the portal of the courts of general jurisdiction of Moscow. The lawsuit was registered on November 16 under the article on protection of honor, dignity and business reputation. The case materials are being reviewed by a judge. Details of the case are not disclosed.

According to media reports, the reason for the lawsuit could have been statements by Mizulina, who called Creed “the main scammer of the country” and called for checking the performer because of “activities in organizing and advertising gambling.”

• The Safe Internet League is a non-profit partnership created in 2011 by the St. Basil the Great Foundation of entrepreneur Konstantin Malofeev. The organization is headed by Ekaterina Mizulina, daughter of Senator Elena Mizulina. The League’s goal is to “eradicate dangerous content” on the Internet. Mizulina is known for actively writing denunciations against public people, musicians and bloggers.
