Security forces conducted a raid on a hostel near Moscow and took 40 people to the military registration and enlistment office.

On November 17, security forces raided a dormitory in Domodedovo, after which 40 people were taken to the military registration and enlistment office. This was reported by the Volgograd telegram channel with reference to several young people who were in this hostel.

According to the telegram channel, two Volgograd residents came to Moscow to work, lived in a hostel in Domodedovo and worked at the Auto-Euro company. At 6 a.m. on November 17, they were awakened by security forces.

“...Without warning, the hungry guys were taken to the police station, without things and documents (except for a passport, two of our Volgograd residents and 38 guys from other cities). At 14:21 it was known that they were being taken by force to the city of Balashikha. The police officers told the driver to take them as quickly as possible! They were given uniforms without summons, and they are still there today,” the channel’s statement says.

A relative of one of the Volgograd residents told the Astra telegram channel that all the detainees were Russian citizens. According to her, the young people were given a uniform and sent to a military unit; they were not given a medical examination. “They said they would leave them there. There will be an oath in December,” Astra quotes the woman. She added that no summons had been sent to the place of residence of her detained relative.

In October, police raided a mosque in Kotelniki, Moscow Region, and took Friday prayer participants to the military registration and enlistment office. Among them was the finalist of the show “Sing a Star” on Channel One, Mamut Useinov. Soon after his arrest, he and other men were sent to a military unit in Naro-Fominsk.
