In Senezh, near Moscow, a seminar was held for vice-governors on domestic policy and representatives of regional election commissions, writes Kommersant, citing sources close to the Kremlin. Its topic was the upcoming Russian presidential elections.
At the seminar they talked about topics that “foreign ill-wishers” might try to use “to destabilize the situation within the Russian Federation.” One of these topics is the sentiments of women whose loved ones are at war in Ukraine.
“You need to be in contact with them, pay attention to their problems and help solve them,” Kommersant’s interlocutors say.
, The Insider citing a source in one of the regional administrations, reports that the topic of “working” with the wives of the mobilized is one of the priorities for governors, and they are constantly reminded of this in the presidential administration.
“The task is to stop external protest at any cost. Persuade, promise, pay. Anything, as long as it doesn’t go out onto the street, in any quantity, even 50 people,” the publication’s interlocutor said.
Calls from relatives of those mobilized to organize meetings in the regions are increasingly appearing on social networks. In Novosibirsk, yesterday the media were not allowed to attend such a meeting between the wives of the mobilized women and officials , and today in St. Petersburg, officials banned the organization of a rally that the wives of the military had planned to gather.
