The materials of the administrative case of petty hooliganism (Part 2 of Article 20.1 of the Code of Administrative Offenses) against activist Alexander Pravdin were received by the Gatchina City Court. He reported this on his Telegram channel.
As the man told OVD-Info, on November 8, employees of Center “E” detained him in the center of the Siversky settlement in the Leningrad region. The security forces threatened and demanded that his telegram channel “Siverskaya Vorona” be deleted.
Later, Pravdin was taken to OP 106 in the Gatchina district, where a report was drawn up against him under the article of petty hooliganism. Law enforcement officers also took his keys and phone. RusNews previously reported that the activist was then taken to the hospital.
Pravdin was detainedagain on November 17, and later released with an obligation to appear to draw up a report the next day.
According to the activist, he was detained “ at the request of the Gatchina police ” because he did not appear for the preparation of a protocol under the article on discrediting the army (Part 1 of Article 20.3.3 of the Administrative Code). Pravdin noted that today, November 20, the judge of the Gatchina City Court refused to consider the case in his absence. In addition, as stated in the decision to return the protocol, a number of errors were made in it, including the place where the offense was committed was not indicated, and there was no signature of the responsible person.
