In Kaliningrad, 64-year-old activist Igor Baryshnikov, convicted of the Fakes about the Armed Forces, was unable to challenge his imprisonment for 7.5 years, despite the presence of oncology. This was reported by North. Reali by his lawyer Maria Bonzler.
"Today, the regional court made a decision, of course, we will dispute it. We suspected that the case would end today-the court of appeal refused to defend a hundred percent of the petitions. And earlier the SIZO administration appropriated Igor with the status of" prone to extremism and terrorism "-and this is completely peaceful and not inclined to violate something to the elderly man," Bonzler said.
According to her, being detained is deadly for Baryshnikov - he has confirmed oncology. He also has a cytostoma in his stomach - a pipe for the removal of a liquid that needs to be changed periodically.
“Now he himself is forced to wash her, not hoping for doctors,” the lawyer said.
Protection requires the cancellation of Baryshnikov’s sentence, insisting that the investigation made numerous violations, and in the case file there were no proper examinations. Lawyers continue to seek recognition of the convicted person inappropriate to serving a sentence in custody.
Court meetings are being held now on a closed mode, as GOSTain and state interests are affected in the case.
In his last word, voiced at the appeal meeting, Baryshnikov stated that he was not provided with any medical care.
“This is criminal, the non -ordering of medical care. I think that this is cannibalism. I entered here on the level of nine units, and in September he was 17. And what he was now, I don’t know what he was. I repeatedly asked and my defenders asked me to go outside the region and get medical care where the FSB head of the FSB does not extend in the Kaliningrad region of Pavl Valentinovich, but you, judge citizens, are forbidden to go beyond the limits of our region and do not give me the operation to be responsible for your criminal acts.
The court decision also states that Baryshnikov’s mother remains in the care of the social services of the city of Sovetsk. At the same time, Evgenia Baryshnikova died in August. July 1 she turned 97 years old. She was a disabled person, the victim of the Holocaust, and the Hesad charity fund helped to care for her. The son was her only guardian. After the arrest of the Baryshnikov, the social services were supposed to take her away, but the defense of the activist filed a complaint, and Baryshnikov’s wife began to issue custody of an elderly woman. The activist was not released from the pre -trial detention center to the mother’s funeral.
