The Khoroshevsky District Court of Moscow fined computer science teacher Sergei Averyanov 40 thousand rubles under the article on “discrediting” the army (Part 1 of Article 20.3.3 of the Administrative Code). This was reported by the press service of the Moscow courts.
Earlier it became known that 41-year-old Averyanov, during a lesson in the 9th grade, drew a swastika on the interactive board and wrote: “Glory to Ukraine. Death to Russian idiots! The students told other teachers about what happened, who called the police to the school. The security forces arrived and took Averyanov to the police station.
We are talking about gymnasium No. 1619 named after Marina Tsvetaeva in Strogino, collaborating with HSE. Its director Evgeny Skudnov told RIA Novosti that Sergei Averyanov was suspended from lessons. According to Skudnov, an inspection is currently being carried out at the institution, following which a decision will be made to dismiss the computer science teacher. He added that a preventive conversation was held with 9th grade students. The gymnasium also plans to hold “school-wide events and conversations with students about the dangers of extremism and its manifestations.”
