The Moscow City Court rejected the appeal of the Moscow City Duma deputy from A Just Russia, Mikhail Timonov, against the ruling of the Preobrazhensky District Court, which refused to remove his “foreign agent” status. This is reported by SOTA.
The Preobrazhensky Court made this decision at the end of July. “We will go all the way because something needs to be done about this. The theater of the absurd cannot last forever, we must someday return to common sense,” the deputy said then.
Timonov was added to the register on June 30. According to the Ministry of Justice, he distributed materials from “foreign agents” and “unreliable information” about government agencies.
