Since the spring of 2022, the Governor of the Primorsky Territory Oleg Kozhemyako has been using the 37-meter yacht White Pearl with the call sign ZGOV8, Vestka found out.
According to the publication, we are talking about a vessel of the EVO-120 model, which was launched in the summer of 2021 in Italy. The yacht has four guest cabins that can accommodate up to eight people. According to journalists, the cost of the vessel is about 1.2 billion rubles.
According to Russian customs, the ship was imported into Russia from South Korea in April 2022. The owner of the yacht, as “Layout” writes, was the offshore company WP Management Ltd from the British Virgin Islands.
In Russia, the ship was registered to the former captain of the Black Sea Fleet, Shakir Jafarov. From the leak of the Federal Tax Service it follows that Jafarov, at least in 2020, received a salary at the Ozernovsky fish canning plant No. 55, the co-owner of which is the son of the head of the region, Nikita Kozhemyako.
In October 2023, the ship left Russian waters for several days, and upon return it was registered in the name of Igor Tivyakov, who in 2020 and 2021 worked in the Economic Directorate of the Government of the Primorsky Territory.
“Layout” also found out that in the phone books of other users, Tivyakov’s number is recorded as “Igor captain of the governor’s yacht” and “Igor governor’s boat.”
According to the publication, the yacht is now located on the territory of the Zvezda shipbuilding complex, which specializes in the construction and repair of large-capacity vessels, including tankers for Rosneft. According to Vestka, the plant does not service yachts.
