Security forces are going to deport the families of teenagers native to Uzbekistan who threw snow into the Eternal Flame in Krasnoe Selo and extinguished it. this . reports Fontanka

On the evening of December 10, several teenagers were caught on surveillance cameras throwing snow into the Eternal Flame. As notes Fontanka , soon the security forces detained two brothers, natives of Uzbekistan, 10 and 14 years old. After being interviewed by the police, they were handed over to their parents.

The press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region told journalists that the police were preparing materials for the court on the expulsion of teenagers and their parents from Russia, since the families “were on the territory of Russia without having completed all the necessary documents.”

“Based on the incident, the materials of the police investigation, as well as the teenagers themselves and their parents, were transferred to the investigative authorities for procedural actions,” the security forces said.

In November, two boys aged 10 and 11 extinguished the Eternal Flame in Norilsk. They said that they did it out of curiosity. The Investigative Committee opened a criminal case regarding damage to memorial structures (clause “a” of Part 2 of Article 243.4 of the Criminal Code).
