Teenagers who extinguished the Eternal Flame with snowballs will be deported from Russia along with their parents

The Krasnoselsky District Court of St. Petersburg decided to expel the children who covered the Eternal Flame with snow and their parents, reported . the joint press service of the city courts

The court held Abror Ismoilov, Nargiz Ismoilova and Gulzat Batyrov accountable for violating the rules of entry into Russia by a foreigner (part 3 of Article 18.8 of the Administrative Code). According to the court, all three were on Russian territory without registering for migration. They admitted guilt.

RBC , citing the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region, reports that the court upheld the decision to expel both families at the request of the police. Abror and Nargiz Ismoilov and Gulzat Batyrov are parents of teenagers. In addition to expulsion, everyone was given a fine of 5 thousand rubles.

The 11-year-old child who extinguished the Eternal Flame is in the police temporary detention center for juvenile offenders, the press service said.

The incident occurred in Krasnoe Selo in St. Petersburg on December 10. The police identified the children - they were two brothers, 10 and 14 years old, as well as a third boy, 11 years old. The Fontanka publication noted that all the detainees were natives of Uzbekistan.
