The Gatchina prosecutor's office did not find any grounds for transferring to court the case of Momagul Alimordonova on the use of violence against a government official (Part 1 of Article 318 of the Criminal Code) and returned the materials to the Gatchina Investigative Committee. Her husband Alexander Pravdin reported this to OVD-Info.
A criminal case under the article on the use of violence against a security officer (Part 1 of Article 318 of the Criminal Code) against Momagul Alimordonova became known in September 2022. Then a report was drawn up against her husband under the article of inciting hatred or enmity (Article 20.3.1 of the Administrative Code) because of the poster “Russians, you are non-humans.” Alimordonov accompanied her husband to the police department. When she was asked to leave the premises, she refused. Then the police splashed tear gas directly into Alimordonova’s eyes, Pravdin said.
According to investigators, the woman “took advantage of the opportunity and entered” the Gatchina District Ministry of Internal Affairs. There, she allegedly threw police officer Ivanova onto the tiled floor and pushed her down the stairs. According to Pravdin, after the police sprayed tear gas, they threw his wife to the floor and handcuffed her.
Pravdin considers the case against his wife to be revenge from the security forces because of his anti-war position and single pickets.
