On the evening of December 20, a drone fell in Naro-Fominsk, Moscow region. Telegram channels 112 and Baza report this with reference to eyewitnesses.
Both channels write that the drone fell in the area of Krasnopresnensky Pond. At the same time, fragments of the drone ended up on the roadway. The crash site was cordoned off and emergency services arrived there. According to preliminary data, no victims.
At the same time, a huge traffic jam formed due to the police cordon. Local news reports reported that Magistralnaya Street was blocked , from the exit from the city to the exit from Kievskoe Highway.
By the morning of December 21, official sources had not commented on reports of a drone crash in the Moscow region. At the same time, the Russian Ministry of Defense stated that on the evening of December 20, air defense forces shot down a Ukrainian drone over the Belgorod region. The head of the region, Vyacheslav Gladkov, clarified that the drone was shot down on approach to Belgorod. According to preliminary data, there were no casualties or damage.
Naro-Fominsk is located approximately 80 kilometers from Moscow. The last time the Ministry of Defense reported about the fall of drones in the Moscow region was on December 19. The military department then reported that a drone had been shot down in the sky over the Odintsovo district of the Moscow region.
