Queer blogger sentenced to three years in prison for trafficking in pornography

The Simonovsky Court in Moscow sentenced queer blogger Hilmi Forks to three years in a general regime colony. He was found guilty of illegal trafficking and production of pornography (clause “b” of Part 3 of Article 242 of the Criminal Code). This was reported in the telegram channel of the capital's courts of general jurisdiction.

Forks, 29, was taken into custody in the courtroom immediately after the verdict was announced. Before that, he was under recognizance not to leave.

The reason for initiating a criminal case was the posts that Forks published on his Telegram channel a year ago. According to Shot, the videos contained “sexual intercourse scenes.” Experts came to the conclusion that the videos are pornographic, adds . Baza

In mid-July, Forks’ arrest was reported by the head of the Safe Internet League, Ekaterina Mizulina, who had previously written a denunciation against him. Later, the blogger was arrested for 12 days under the article of petty hooliganism, and was also fined one thousand rubles for a fight in “Tasty, period.”

At the end of January 2023, an administrative case was opened against Hilmi Forks and streamer Dasha Koreika for “LGBT propaganda.” State Duma deputy Yana Lantratova wrote a denunciation against them. At the same time, it became known for the first time that Forks was being investigated under an article on the production of pornography.
