The man was found guilty under articles on justification of terrorism (Part 2 of Article 205.2 of the Criminal Code) and high treason (Article 275 of the Criminal Code).
Eliseev was detained in December 2022 in the case of calls for terrorism and sent to a pre-trial detention center. According to investigators, the man was the administrator of the telegram channel “Kalkhoz Madness”, working under the pseudonym Rumata Estorsky. There he allegedly published a post with anti-war content. Which one exactly is unknown.
In April 2023, was filed another one against Eliseev for justifying terrorism. The media wrote that the reason for this was the words “And the Ukrainians are great, they fucked up the oil depot in Belgorod, it’s a pity not about Moscow. It’s good to beat the aggressor on its territory; the bombing of Berlin by Soviet aircraft in August 1941 immediately comes to mind.” A similar post was published on April 1, 2022.
In September it became known that a case of treason had been opened against Eliseev . Then the Rossiya-1 TV channel Vesti-Lipetsk reported about the “detention of a sponsor of militants” and the initiation of a criminal case. The material stated that the defendant transferred money to the crypto account of a Ukrainian citizen, which was used to purchase “uniforms and ammunition that were used by the air assault troops of the Ukrainian Armed Forces when conducting combat operations against the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.” The publication also published two videos of the detainee, in one of which Eliseev was recognized by his friends.
Eliseev complained about the conditions of detention in the pre-trial detention center. Among other things, he spent three and a half months in a cell with high humidity, fungus and mold on the walls, which is why he developed a cough. Then he was transferred to another cell, but no medical assistance was provided. From February 1 to February 11, the man was in a punishment cell due to a violation of internal regulations.
