Where did the New Year come from a Jewish country and what the children in the warring country make

It turned out that I have a fairly strong experience in Santa Claus: I started back in 1986 from the company Zarya, remember this?

And now, after many years, I completely had no idea that I would do this in Israel, believing that all these are atavisms of the “scoop”, from which people here quickly get rid of.

But here, as it turned out, they were not weaned! Well, besides those, of course, who took a deeply religious here, as they say here - a “dating” position that completely denies all forms of Christmas, including surrogate.

Trying to figure out the Jews for the celebration of the New Year, I climbed quite deeply and made a lot of discoveries for myself that I am ready to share with you, because there are different holidays on each other, like nesting dolls around on January 1: there is a pagan Scandinavian yol, Saturnal, Khanuk, Catholic and Orthodox Christmas, circumcision of the Lord ...

How did it all work out?

Let's start, as expected, with Adam.

According to Jewish concepts, he was a prophet, for he was talking directly with God, who told him in one of the conversations that our world was not eternal and once he would end.

As you know, Rosh Ha-Shan, the Jewish New Year, that is, the “creation of the world”, is celebrated on different days at the turn of September and October in accordance with the lunar cycle. The Old Russian, by the way, was also there, but exactly September 1, and Peter I transferred it to January, so that he would get closer to the west.

So, in the Talmud it is said that, having born in early autumn, on the 6th day of creation, Adam watched for two months that the bright time of the day was shortened every day, and this gave him reason to think gloomily about the rather imminent end of the world ...

But at the end of December, the first person suddenly noticed that the day stopped decreasing, and the bright time of the day, on the contrary, began to increase again.

Oh, it means that life does not end yet, it needs to be celebrated!

This fracture with reducing daylight hours to its increase was the reason for the holiday in almost all world religions!

The ancient Roman Saturnals were confined to the end of the harvest, which was just on the winter solstice. In the days of making victims, it was customary to free the slaves, and classes were stopped in schools. Then they went into calendies, and ended like all the holidays, orgias, which led, as we know, to the sad decline of the Roman Empire ...

Norwegians still congratulate each other on the New Year with a short phrase: "Gu Yul!" But not all Scandinavians know that Yol is an ancient German holiday in honor of the longest night. After it, according to legend, there was a revival of the solar king, who warmed the earth and aroused life in sleeping seeds. These days, bonfires fired in the fields, had fun, danced, fried meat and drinking a strong cord.

And the celebration of Jewish Hanukkah is exactly these days. Do you know why? Now I'll tell you, this is important.

In the II century BC Tsar Antioch IV Epiphanes began persecution of the Jewish religion and vilely desecrated the Jerusalem Temple.

Then the Jews, led by the McCavev family, made an uprising that turned out to be successful, and its apotheosis was the cleansing and consecration of the temple. Hence the Hanuku holiday, the name of which means "sanctification".

As for the date, this is especially interesting! According to European historians, Antiochus IV deliberately defiled the temple on the birthday of the sun god, proving its strength. But McCavei specifically chose the same date for repeated consecration in order to once again emphasize their successful confrontation to the ancient pagan cult.

Well, why does all this coincide with the usual Christmas? Yes, for the same reason!

The date of the birth of Christ is not indicated in any Gospel, and apparently, this date was personally chosen by the Equal -to -the -Apostles Queen Elena, when, together with her son, the emperor Konstantin, she decided to impose the Christianity of the whole empire in an orderly order.

Why do I think so? Yes, because it was she, already at old age, having made a pilgrimage to the Holy Land, who tied all the events indicated in the Scriptures, to specific places and dates. Here is the definition of the whereabouts of the Calvary himself, and the transfer of the date of the transformation of the Lord from winter to summer ...

Why is Christmas exactly December 25? Yes, all in order to kill the main pagan holiday! Are the people used to drink in winter? Well, let him continue fun, only you need to change the reason!

Actually, Comrade Stalin in 1935 decided not to invent a bicycle, but did the same, prescribing a New Year instead of Christmas.

By the way, the image of Santa Claus (before the terrible pagan villain) was then actually drawn from the good Santa Claus, who, in turn, found a red half-fur only at the whim of the New Year's advertising campaign of Coca-Cola ... Well, they did not report about this to Comrade Stalin.

So, dear Jews and Christians, if it were not for the Czech with calendars and a binding to the lunar cycle, then every year to celebrate Hanuku parallel with Christmas!

True, there was also Papa Sylvester ...

In Russia, this is a very insignificant figure, especially since its day is on our saints - January 2, and here in Europe, everything coincides with the Tutelka: December 31!

And now some religious Jews believe that Pope Sylvester, who steamed in Rome in the 4th century, decided to arrange the violent baptism of the entire Jewish community, and to drown those who disagree in the Tiber River ...

Here I am already forced to say that Judaism today is by no means a single religion.

As in all other denominations, from time to time a character appears here (usually a rabbi), who suddenly realizes that “everything is wrong, guys” and begins to carry new fresh truths to the people.

Naturally, he has fans and followers, and so: Khokhmochka about Sylvester once came up with a certain Moshe Reznik, but at the same time he did not indicate the original sources. He has Roman Pope Sylvester there, for some reason lowered to the cardinal, from some fright he received the right to execute and mercy on everyone around ...

But, as they say, “the spoons were found, but the sediment remained”, so that among some areas of Judaism this day cannot be celebrated.

... But in general, the whole country - even these days of the war - celebrates the New Year with pleasure! Young people walk in a cafe, dances on the streets, in general, as they sung in an old Jewish song: “Anyway, we will sing!” Or, as in a modern joke: "Do not wait!"

In Hebrew, from our presentation, even a word appeared - “Novigod”.

So, on New Year's days, I confidently “Dedmoro” home in our and the neighboring town.

In general, this is always a decent earnings that you need to fight for, because in each community of repatriates there is already its own Santa Claus, who has won love in children and authority in parents, so it is quite difficult to climb into its fur coat and beard.

They got them because one of my old comrade, who “grandfather” in Israel for many years, was tangibly ill, decided to “retire” and transfer his suit along with the finished client base to me.

Of course, this is all-“Russian” families, that is, those in which children still speak Russian and even know a song about a Christmas tree ...

Yes, they, as expected to all children, believe in a miracle that I will definitely create for them, and therefore almost all the local pears asked me to “make a world for Israel” next year.

But I don't know how to do it. No matter how I try here.

And one five -year -old little one to my question, who she wants to be when she grows up, honestly answered:

- Sholdat!

I did not understand and asked:

- Chocolate?

But then my mother intervened and answered for her:

- A soldier. Like her older sister. She is there now.
