NATO countries have promised to provide Ukraine with additional aid “worth billions of euros” in 2024

Following the meeting of the Ukraine-NATO Council, the countries of the North Atlantic Alliance stated that they would continue to provide economic, humanitarian and military assistance to Kyiv, including to strengthen Ukrainian air defense. This is stated in a statement from the council.

The publication notes that many NATO members have announced plans to provide Kyiv with “additional capabilities worth billions of euros” in 2024. What exactly is being discussed is not specified in the statement.

NATO members also "strongly condemned" Russian strikes on Ukraine, Russia's use of ballistic missiles from North Korea and drones from Iran, the statement said.

A meeting of the Ukraine-NATO Council was held on January 10 at the ambassadorial level and was convened at the request of Kyiv against the backdrop of increasingly frequent massive shelling of Ukrainian territories by Russian troops.
