The reason for increased attention to what is happening in Moscow and the Moscow Region is understandable: firstly, 12.6% of the country's population lives here, and secondly, the capital has always had sacred significance for political leadership-they are trying to not allow discontent here. Meanwhile, many Russian regions began to freeze long before Moscow. And they continue to freeze. At the same time, they are not paid much attention to them, local officials sometimes simply deny the availability of problems, and people, in order to return heat to the apartments, have to resort to extraordinary measures. Here is a chronicle of cold winter 2023-2024 in Russia.
Khakassia
The first, a month before Moscow, Siberia began to freeze. On December 8, in the villages of Kalinino and the heyday of the Ust-Abakansky district of Khakassia, power supply was lost: an accident at the local substation and power lines occurred. And heating in the villages is precisely electric: of course, not centralized - tied to heaters.
In the "Rosseti", the first thing they said were to residents: less energy -intensive devices should be used. But how not to use them when on the street -27 ° C? People, however, found a way out: there was an object nearby, which is heated stably - Abakan International Airport. From the heyday to it - 5 kilometers, and from Kalinino - literally cross the road. Here are the villagers and went.
“All the village of Kalinino came to the Abakan Airport to bask. Children, women, men. We do not see another way out, ”said one of the villagers of the village. Video with people who go to heat up at the airport, flew around the regional media and publics. After that, the Khakassia government created an operational headquarters to eliminate the accident on a rural power line.
As a result, at the airport, people with breaks warmed five days. On December 12, Rosseti announced that they had restored heat supply.
Transbaikalia
On the same day, December 12, the inhabitants of the 30,000th Borzya city in the Trans-Baikal Territory began to complain to the cold in apartments and cracked batteries. In some houses, the temperature dropped to 8 ° C, on the street at that time it was -45 ° C. The Chita.ru publication reported on problems in the Central City Board, but the mayor of the city Valery Nekhamkin and Governor Alexander Osipov entrusted the blame for what was happening to local residents, saying that they were in large quantities to lower water from the batteries, which leads to accidents.
After the residents threatened the officials with protests, the Investigative Committee began checking the actions of officials for negligence. It turned out, for example, that 76 million rubles were spent on the preparation of Borzi for the heating season, but the city was not ready by winter.
How this check ended is unknown, heating to the greyhound was returned on December 16.
Tyumen
And on December 17, the media reported a local situation: heating disappeared in Tyumen school No. 22. The event would be not remarkable if it weren’t for the teachers 'reaction to the students' complaints about the cold: “He does not suit something-goodbye! Choose a different form of training, another educational institution. They arranged here. As if such an accident for the first time. The building of the school is old. Sooner or later, everything breaks down, ”one of the teachers told the children.
As a result, the heat supply was restored the next day. The media note that the school building has never passed overhaul over the past 35 years.
Voronezh
Problems with heating continued in the new year. At the holidays without heat and hot water supply, there were residents of more than 100 houses in the Leninsky district of Voronezh. The reason was the leak in the heating system. The accident was eliminated per day. And the inhabitants of the village of Chalna in Karelia were left without heating, which is supplied here due to electricity, on the night of January 4.
“At 00.00 in the morning we turned off the electricity, we saw from the window how to spark and the power line melts. We immediately called UPDS, ”a resident of the village Marina Brunetkin told the Province's publication. - The answer is: "The working day begins at 8 in the morning, go to bed." They called the Ministry of Emergencies. They answer there: "Go to bed, and tomorrow buy bourgeois, and not complain about the state."
The complaints, however, gave the effect: by 17 pm January 4, the supply of electricity, and with it the heat in the village was restored.
The Russians continued to freeze after the holidays. Moreover, the number of accidents seems to have even increased.
Yekaterinburg
Since January 6, 324 houses in the Uktus and Vtorchermet microdistricts remain in Yekaterinburg without heating. The reason is the accident in the boiler room. Residents indicate that the temperature in the apartments drops to 18 degrees. Moreover, if heat supply companies recognize the problem and declare that they are engaged in the repair of communications, then the mayor of the city Alexei Orlov, in response to complaints of residents, says that there are simply no problems: “No, there is warmth everywhere. We have 8 kindergartens and 2 schools there, and in the morning I checked the temperature regime, it allows you to keep children. There is heat in residential buildings too, ”he said on the morning of January 10.
The Yekaterinburg residents comment on the mayor’s words with restraint: “Alexey Valerievich, they reported early that everything was working out with heating. The batteries are cold, there was no warmth in the apartments, as it was. ”
JUST NOW
