The opera singer Tamara Milashkin died

In Austria, on January 10, the opera singer, People's Artist of the USSR Tamara Milashkin died. This was reported by the press service of the Bolshoi Theater. Milashkin was a soloist of his opera troupe for more than 30 years, since 1958, before his departure abroad in 1989.

The singer died at the 90th year of her life. Farewell to her and the funeral will take place in Vienna.

On the stage of the Bolshoi Theater, Milashkin, in particular, was performed by the party of Tatyana (Eugene Onegin Tchaikovsky), Lisa ("Queen of Spades" by Tchaikovsky), longing ("Toska" Puccini), Aida ("Aida" Verdi), Iolanta ("Iolanda" by Tchaikovsky). She performed a lot with tour.

In 1961–62, Milashkin took an internship at the Milan Theater of La Scala, during which she performed the main part of Soprano in the opera “Battle of Lenyano” by Giuseppe Verdi. In 1989, with her husband, also opera singer Vladimir Atlantov, moved to Austria.
