Online services with correspondence may be obliged to transfer data to the FSB

The Ministry of Construction of Russia proposed forcibly introducing online services that have a messaging function in the register of the organizers of the dissemination of information (Ori). Kommersant drew attention to the corresponding project of the department.

The resources included in the register are required to store users for six months, transfer data to the FSB and install equipment for remote access to the FSB to information about users and their actions (SORM).

According to the Minzifra project , the right to replenish the register will receive Roskomnadzor. He will be able to introduce the site to the ORA register, if he has a correspondence or feedback function, and its owner did not fulfill the demand to enter the list voluntarily.

For the refusal of storage of correspondence, transfer of data from the FSB and the installation of SORM, fines of up to six million rubles are provided . The project of the Ministry of Construction is submitted for public discussion, which will last until January 13.
